The richness and diversity of classical operatic culture in Lewes and the surrounding region owes much to the contribution of Sir John Tomlinson. Many will know Sir John as a familiar and friendly face in and around the Lewes area. For those unaware (there can't be many), Sir John is, of course, more famously known for his outstanding achievements in international opera. In his role as President of Lewes-based East Sussex Bach Choir, Sir John has demonstrated his commitment and support of baroque music locally.
